DEVELOPMENT OF A SUPER-NUTRIENT SOIL ENHANCING PRODUCT
04.15.08

Applied Intellectual Capital ("AIC") (AIM: AINC) is pleased to announce a collaboration agreement between its wholly owned subsidiary RedOx Biofuels
("RedOx") and Geohumus International GmbH ("Geohumus") to jointly develop a super-nutrient soil enhancing product.

The collaboration between RedOx and Geohumus will combine a process developed by RedOx to convert various carbon sources into an ion exchange and micro-nutrient delivery material through its proprietary mediated metal redox ("MMR") synthesis process with Geohumus' proprietary water retention granulate.

Geohumus' proprietary granules can store at least 30 times their own weight in water, which is then released to the soil over a period of several days. This
process is repeatable for up to 5 years, when Geohumus is biologically degraded by the micro-organisms in the soil. Water that would previously have been lost
to evaporation or seepage beyond root level is thus retained, reducing water loss and lengthening irrigation periods. When completed, the addition of RedOx's
micro-nutrient could create a high performance version of the Geohumus granulate, for commercially viable application in arid regions and in poor
quality soils.

Kim Ogaard-Nielsen, CEO of RedOx, commented:
"This collaboration is an exciting development for RedOx. It fits perfectly with our strategy of commercially exploiting our MMR technology through applications
that use marginal or low-value resources as a source of products. With Geohumus' water retaining qualities, land that might previously have been
written off as wilderness or desert can now be irrigated and cultivated."

Holger Behrens, CFO of Geohumus, added:

"We see this co-operation with RedOx as an important step towards a closer relationship between Geohumus and the AIC group of companies. Combining our
proprietary technologies will allow for even wider applications of Geohumus in high yield agriculture and landscaping. Given the growing need for sustainablewater management and increased water efficiency, this is a project set for success."
